Cape Tribulation Beach House

Hard to find. Even after you get into the parking lot, where are you supposed to go? The only sign is one that says "service vehicles only" -- yet, that's the road you're supposed to go down. It's a bit of a walk from the parking lot, but nice. As for the food, the kangaroo loin was good. The Spanish mackerel was OK. The pasta (shrimp fettuccine) was on the sweet side, which was unexpected. If I ever went back, I'd likely stick with a burger. In terms of ambience, I thought it would be tables on the beach like in some parts of the Caribbean, but it's not. It's a giant tent with picnic tables and a swimming pool -- still nice. The bathrooms are a bit on the grungy side, though.
